1. Download NameBench from the link above.
2. Install and run Name Bench
3. Look at the top right of your HTML log, and in the box where it says recommended configuration (fastest and nearest) note the top 2 servers
4. Use the first two DNS from step 3 with the following guide

DISGUISING FILES or Hide file without any software

• This tutorial is for Windows PC's

1. Create a folder on your C drive by opening up My Computer, double clicking on your C Drive, right clicking in an empty space and choosing New > Folder. For this tutorial, lets name this folder Hacks
2. In this newly created hacks folder, place the file you want to hide, and the picture you want to hide it in. For this tutorial, the file we're going to hide will be called secrets.txt and we're going to be hiding it in picture.jpg
3. Select the files you want to disguise and make them into a RAR file. You can do this by using the free program WinRAR or other similar programs. Lets say this creates the file secrets.rar
4. Open the windows command prompt. You can do this by opening Run from the start menu, typing in CMD and pressing OK.
5. In this command prompt. type cd.. and hit enter a couple times until you are in the root of the C drive.
6. Type cd hacks to navigate to the hacks folder we created in step 1.
7. Type copy /b picture.jpg + secret.rar safe.jpg and press enter.
8. This will now create a picture file named safe.jpg with your hidden files inside of it. Change the file extension to .rar whenever you want your files back, and extract them :)

Get Hidden saved Passwords

I recently came across a javascript that can be used to show any saved passwords on a website. What I mean is, for example you have your gmail password ‘remembered’ and when you visit http://gmail.com/ you see your username and a password hidden with asterisks (******). Well this script reveals what stays behind those asterisks.

This script can be inserted in the developer consoles of Firefox/Chrome.

So think twice before saving any of your passwords on any public computers. Or on any computer really, as even some of your friends or colleagues can pull a prank on you.

This can also easily be done by going into your browser settings and checking out your Saved Passwords. Tools that pull out your entire password tree exist and are quite common as well.

I strongly recommend you use a Master Password if you decide that you need to have your passwords “remembered” by your browser. Every time you visit a website that you have associated a password with, it will ask you for your master password before actually filling in the password box. It is indeed annoying, but much better than getting all your passwords stolen in 5 seconds.
